For the past two weeks I have been working on the development of my final outcome pieces. Working on sewing, stuffing and painting one of my sculptures. However, Midway through the process I ran out of stuffing and fabric. Hopefully this will arrive in week nine of my process, but will only affect the application of the tubes upon the fabric tubes.

I have worked upon the plans and creation of my final pieces of work, creating a collection instead of only one piece of work. These are the plans which I have started within sculptures on plinths, a bench, a wall sculpture along with using red colour projection and audio.

Here are the plans which I have made/started so far:

These are the pieces which I have started working on already apart from the wooden frame of tubes. The bench will be placed somewhere in the exhibition acting as a bench which is often seen in art galleries to sit and look at the artwork. The other sculptures will be on a plinth for viewing with latex dripping down creating a pool of latex beneath the plinth.

The frame of tubes will be created for people to walk through and experience the textures of the latex, fabric and cardboard the tubes will be stuffed with along with the sensation of having your personal space invaded.

My next piece I am planning is using red lighting and audio as seen in my previous performance piece using projection of the red to show embarrassment and discomfort. By creating this square of red for people to stand in listening to audio of chewing and other unsettling sounds should create anxiety for audiences. The bench that was made with wood and expanding foam may also be put in this red square however, I think the aspect of having to stand will creat e further discomfort.

Working into week nine I will be sewing more tubes to create for my frame, adding latex to my wall sculpture, gloss my plinth sculptures, add more expanding foam to my bench and then paint it. The week after I will continue working on this if needed and then start working on my red lighting and audio piece. All of this should take up the four weeks left.
